Jeanie Lovett, M.A., SLP, is a licensed speech-language pathologist with decades of experience helping young children learn to talk. She has found great joy working with children in Early Intervention and Preschool settings, as well as school-aged children with autism, feeding difficulties, and multiple disabilities.

Jeanie originally made this book by hand for her own children and has shared it with many families throughout the years. She loves the delight parents feel when their child begins to talk! After seeing so many parents become frustrated and worried about how to help their child start talking, she created the Baby, Talk About It series-simple, joyful books designed to turn everyday moments into language-learning opportunities. Jeanie designed each page to offer gentle guidance and playful ways for families to connect while encouraging early sounds and first words.
