Listen in as Kelli interviews Jacqueline Gikow

Living Pain Free: A Journey to Moving Better is a story of my determination to recover from years of living in constant physical pain. Most of us experience pain at some time. Sometimes we experience unending pain. And there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing our body’s aches and pains.

When we are in pain, all we can think about is relief. I share my journey to offer hope and inspiration, and to stir you to picture what is possible.

Living Pain Free is my journey of healing. You may recognize yourself and become stirred by the possibility for transformation. When we are optimistic, we do better. We’re happier and healthier. Optimism is critical when it comes to longevity.

My mission in my health and fitness business, Audacious Living NYC™, is meant to evoke a positive connection to others. Living audaciously connects me to those who share my enthusiasm for living.Living Pain Free isn’t a how-to book. For years, pain ruled my life. Although active, ongoing limitations from past injuries hampered my movement. I let my body follow a path of least resistance so that I could move. Until I couldn’t.

In Living Pain Free, I open the possibility for transformation. All my physical experiences led me to where this book begins. My body didn’t shut down overnight, and I didn’t improve overnight. I learned how my past affected what hurt now, and I wanted to get better. I committed to taking control of my well-being.

If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will take you there.” — Any Road
