In this memoir, the life of a Black American is revealed. From his earliest recollection at the young and innocent age of four, a life-long journey of appalling events unfolds and the shocking accounts of kin-folks. Growing up in Northern California’s San Francisco Bay Area from the 1970s through the 1990s, one of the most tolerable regions in the country regarding the uniqueness and diversity of its populations, he would find himself in often precarious racial situations, questioning his worth and value as a human being in an often hostile world.

In order to make sense of it all, he takes an in-depth analysis of his own personal experiences, the experiences of his loved ones, and combines it with his formal education and independent research in an attempt to uncover, Why do They Hate us so Much?

This book was written to offer awareness to All Folks from all walks of life and differing ethnic backgrounds to the issues of racism and systemic racism, in a quest to bring equity, equality, and unity, to a Nation which has been sickened since birth with the plague of a virus, the virus of Racism! And to help be part of a societal healing process for an ultimately born-again America, a born-again “UNITED” States of America minus the hate, where every American can feel safe and free to reach their goals in their pursuit of happiness!

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area between the 1970s and 1990s, then relocating to the Sacramento region where I earned an Associate of Arts Degree, later a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and recently retired from State service, I have spent over 20 years of my career helping others and gaining valuable insight in the world we live in.

Along my journey I encountered countless numbers of incidents where I was the target of racial hate and discrimination. I am passionate about the rights of ALL people; human rights, and so I decided to tell my story.

As a first-time author and publisher, I chose to write, “Why Do They Hate Us So Much”. The goal of the book is to bring awareness to racial issues and systemic racism here in America, in order to end racism while bringing unity and racial acceptance for all! My hope is some day there will be no more racial hate, no more racial divide, and my children and the future generations of children can grow up without the hate and live and work together in a quest to truly make America great for ALL.
