At age seven, Luka, a perfectly healthy and active young boy, suddenly turned ill, only to be diagnosed with an inoperable, incurable brain tumor. For four and a half years, he fought with the utmost courage, optimism, and unwavering faith to beat this cancerous tumor.

In these pages, Luka’s mom, CarolAnn, shares eleven lessons she learned from the life and wisdom of her son who lived a short, but beautiful, eleven years on this earth. As a mom and as a Christian woman, she struggled with needing God more than ever, yet questioned whether He was hearing her prayers. Now she can honestly say that God saw her family through and blessed them even on the worst days.

Luka’s Light was written with the help and guidance of Luka, along with the definite hand of God. His story is one of pure unconditional, eternal love and light.
